^^^That doesn't look like there new manifold at all really. Where the runner merge into the flange, they seem to all join at once. It might be a divided turbo housing, but that doesn't really look like a twin scroll manifold?????

that is their old design... when i spoke to afi themselves, they referred to it as a twin scroll with the wastegate runners leading to one wastegate.. the post also also says twin scroll..

in any event, it's a moot point since they have a newer style out with two wastegates.. i just wanted to point out that you don't need to have two wastegates (this from afi's mouth, not mine)

also, remember bmw new's turbo motors are twin scroll and don't even feature external/remote wastegates... they are internally gated.

Most OEM turbos are internally gated including twin-scroll JDM Subarus and Mitsubishi Evos. The previous 911 turbo could be tuned to over 500whp Dynojet numbers and were still internally gated. Porsche's new VGT turbos are internally gated as well.

It's a decent sized turbo....haha. It's going to be needed for the new goals I have for the car.
