Default Tial Housing advice

Excuse my ignorance but can someone lend me some advice? My fab guy is pointing me in the direction of the new Tial housings suggesting it will flow better than divided. I have a borg warner s300 1.10 a/r. We are going to make a manifold (forward mount) for this setup and now he's suggesting I run this tial housing instead and we can adjust the manifold design accordingly and run a single 60mm wastegate. What is more beneficial...? Will this tial housing allow for more options fabbing the manifold and compensate for the better transient response and flow of a divided setup? Thanks!!

you might get a better answer from contacting tial directly. I don't think these turbine housings are readily available quite yet since tial's partnership with bw has only started recently.

also these are not a straight bolt on, it requires machining to make it work

What he said. As far as the Tial vband connection, I think they are awesome. Much more lightweight than the typical cast hotsides, and you dont have to worry about gaskets or bolts backing out and leaking. I have the Ptuning kit with a Garrett turbo, so the Tial vband is bolt on. With your Borg you will have to get it machined to fit. I say do it and give everyone a review, as this is probably the route I will take when I want to upgrade from the 30r.

I have the 1.30 ar tial on my gtx45. It's did well.

Devided t4 is always the way to go for best spool compared to a open housing.

not if a proper manifold is designed for the tial housing

Thanks guys I appreciate the help. I agree the SS housing is nice looking and lighter weight/ more compact is a plus. V band is what intrigued me. I just want the most efficient setup as far as spooling. We are in a good position though since we will be fabbing the manifold around this. He does know it needs to be machined thanks for the heads up!
