The stock coils should be fine you will just have to gap the plugs down.

What PSI are you shooting for?

Mine were gapped to .28 i think and they were having troubles above 10psi. So there now gapped to .21 and still having issues... one of my coils is bad. So why not go for the quick fix and get some RSX coils... you can get a new set of 4 for 200 online, OEM. SO why not... doesnt lowering the gap even more effect my drivability around town?

If you are still having issues it is just the coils. Yes you can replace them and you should be able to open the gap back up to around 0.030".

how do the AP2 coils hold up? I am hoping I will be ok with the largest nozzle on the AEM Water Meth kit without using the Kenne Belle Boost a spark

Also plan on using BKR8EIX for the plugs.............

I have ran stock S2 coils at 40-50psi of boost on ethanol and racing gasoline without any misfire occuring.
Most of the problems people are having with these coils are realated to the 'dwell' settings in the ecu. From what I've seen mainly with AEM ecu's for example the settings are way off.
Also we've tried the many different versions of the coil and it seems the expensive ones do performed the best and have the best durability. Have not tried the RSX coil though.

I have not tried the coils again due to time restraints but I do know that the E85 guys are having trouble over 25PSI, I tried to get another member to try them out but he bought an igintion box and pencil coils.

I will not be needing them as I am looking at putting twins on my Z and leaving the S N/A so if anyone is interested I have a complete kit ready to go.

Care to share any information specifically in regards to dwell values?
