junky you need to get that car to the dyno,we need to see if the over spinning is hurting up top
Yep we'll find out tomorrow

I will say that lowering my rev limit will have something to do with less peak power, this i will be moving around a bit come dyno day so I can see how the curve looks. I will tell you though, that by my butt dyno and data logging, I'm still making good gains beyond peak blower speed. With my pulley, my peak blower speed is reached at 7900rpm now just for reference. Injector duty with my 1000cc injectors are in the 90% range. That’s with an additional 180cc per cylinder of water/meth injection. Given that, we'll see...
and you are using a 2.7" pulley right? I want to get a 3.0 pulley but don't want to over spin, also I have 750cc ID injectors will they be maxed out?

Yeah 2.7". a 3" will hit max blower speed at 8500 rpm. 750cc should be just enough for the 3" pulley by my estimation. One thing you can do if necessary, if you start to run out of duty cycle, is to up the fuel pressure with an after market fpr. That’s a pretty common thing and it works. You can effectively make your 750cc flow 850-900cc. As long as your particular brand injectors are up to the task. You only need to adjust the fuel pressure as high as you need though. Less the better.

I think to be safe I'll stick with a 3.2" pulley, how close to 400whp will a 3.2" and test pipe take me? I'm getting tuned on Haltech by Evans Tuning..

370-380whp dynojet.

what would a Novi 1200 hit with the above and a 3.2" pulley?

I don’t run a 1200, but if I remember correctly from paxtons website, it produces 200 more cfm over the 1000. So my guess would be about 400whp. I could be wrong but I think 3.2 on a 1200 may produce more boost however, so it may not be a apples to apples comparison. I know the pulleys are not interchangeable.

Some others with a 1200 should chime in one their experience with boost/pulley size vs hp seen.

According to the SOS site, the 3.2" pulley with a 1200 is 16psi with an AP1. That should be good for 450whp+. That's the path I'm going when I upgrade from a 1220 to a 1200.
