Default Upgrading Comptech SC?

Our AP1 is having additional engine work done for more durability (currently turbo).

It was previously SC'd with a Comptech unit. Now I'm thinking that I have this lonely supercharger lying around... and our otherwise stock CR could use a little lovin.

Anyone know what makes a Comptech DBW kit different from a non-DBW kit?

I'd get a FlashPro or similar, but anything else I should know of?

I'd call CT- Engineering and ask them. Or even SOS since its going to be the same blower and supporting components as the comptech kit. You just need to find out what they offer in their DBW kits and see what you have/need. As far as bolt ons go you shoudl be good to go, but I'm not familiar enough with the characteristics of the DBW cars to know what you need to do with the map/injectors/rising rate fpr/flashpro situation. I suppose its still dependent on if your running more boost then the stock injectors would support. I would think if your running flashpro you would not need any kind of addition map hiding device that is offered in the comptech kits. CT and SOS both offer a different piggy back device in thier kits now different from the old ESM map hiding device, these FVm devises do this as well as control fuel and vtec. But again you would not use this on the DBW I do not think. But talk to CT. Hope this helps somewhat.

Well, youll need Flash Pro for sure. Taht is the main thing along with a tune. While your at it, throw a smaller pulley and Some ID725/ID1000 injectors.

I am not 100% sure, but I think all you really need is Flash Pro. Maybe a fuel pump, and thats it.

Going from a comptech kit on my ap1 to an SOS on my CR the only differences I have seen are - Flashpro, injectors, no need for fuel pump, plug for aftercooler bottom (airpump) and t for vacuum @ intake manifold. I could email you a pdf for the SOS install if you need it. It's actuall alot more straight forward than the install was for the ap1.
