V-Mount kit/instructions/advice
I was wondering if anyone had info on how to successfully do a V-mount turbo setup. Right now I am planning to buy and build up another S2000 and would like to do a V-mount with a hood like the C-West time attack car. Also if anyone knows if that is available in something other than 3.5k of honeycomb dry carbon. Any help would be great.
Fabricate new lower radiator support/move existing lower rad support further towards front of car
Modify aftermarket radiator to eliminate fill cap (relocated to top radiator hose closer to engine) and relocate top hose connection to top of radiator.
Eliminate AC or use relocation kit to mount AC canister elsewhere. Fabricate brackets to hold AC condenser in front of radiator if retaining AC
Fabricate new mounting points and inlet/outlet on IC core to allow for vmount. Fabricate new IC piping.
Fabricate custom ducting/shroud for IC and Radiator so that Vmount actually works correctly.
That's pretty much the gist of it.
I've been looking to do a Vmount as well but I'm not sure it's worth the effort, especially for a car that mainly sees street.

you will be able to see some of the various things you need to relocate and fabricate. this took a straight week to make with the A/C but if you get rid of all that it really isnt all that hard.
i really like the v-mount for the street. alot of unwanted attention is avoided simply by not having an intercooler peeping through the bumper grill, not to mention leaving people wondering why they got beat by an NA s2000 lol
