Vacuum system with EMS
The small black box that you have to move when you install the SC (with the little solenoid) and the secondary air system. Are they nessecary when SCd with EMS? I want a better vacuum connection to my blow off valve and I don't see the point in having all these extras that no longer function being attached and taking up space. I know alot of turbo guys take the secondary injection system out but can I with an SC? Can I just unplug everything and cap off the vacuum runners under the fuel rail? or does something else need to be done?
Thanks,
Alex

You can even lose the air pump in the drivers side bumper. However, if you lose that you will need to cap off the air lines taht go to it also. The stuff is far more useful sitting in a box in your garage.
As far as the vacuum pipes under the fuel rail- one goes to a solinoid that I believe does nothing as it does not function with the ems. The other goes to the intake manifold. Why not just get rid of these all together and use the port on the intake manifold for the BOV?
