Default Valve clearance

On the tight side or loose side with FI? Does it really even matter? Please share your thoughts.

Too tight burns valve seats. Too loose lowers valve lift, makes additional noise and causes additional wear.

Go with the the stock specs.

^That is what I meant. Stock specs allow for slop, so I wanted to know if there were any benefits by running the looser or tighter side.

i have to say that the Valve clearance isn't an exact science but when you check for valve clearance do you leave them looser or tighter when you check them,i personally leave them looser if i can,not on the tight side.

I ALWAYS have went to the tight side of the stock specs. It will give you the best lift while still being "safe".
