Joe Alaniz called me back today. I've elected to purchase the retainers and inner spring helpers. He did express that rod bearings might be a concern down the road if a higher rpm was utilized frequently. He was patient with me and didn't make me feel like an idiot.
There are times on a road course that having just a few more rpm's might be the determining factor between shifting before entering a turn or holding it through the turn. Of course, I'm not that good to know that stuff yet, but I am getting there.
