are there any other blow off valves on the market that will fit a vortech. preferably one that is louder than the one that comes with it thank you

Pull the filter off and it will be louder. Don't expect it to be as loud a turbo car's BOV. A SC'd car does not make boost at low RPM like a turbo car.

The easiest way to make it louder is to have more boost.

Yep, the dang thing gets down right noisy with more boost. It's sort of like flushing a loud toilet constantly and it rings between flushes. I find myself starting in second gear to avoid the flush..er shift.

the stock bov does sound amazing though in high rpms. the whistle just blows me away. i'm in love.

did it bolt right on, or do they make one for the vortech? i love the sound of them on a turbo'd car. i bet it would sound fockin cool on a vortech.

All you need is a standard Greddy flange. I picked up mine from Mach V motorsports for a whopping $5.
