how many of you guys have bov with your scs? do you have intercoolers with them? any info is welcome!

also, can you hear the bov? i heard a friends vortech and it wassnt even noticetable with the stock bov.

I have a BOV on mine...yes i'm intercooled. Every once in a blue moon I can hear it. Say I'm in 2nd gear going about 35 mph, I can hear it when I let off...sounds like a butterfly. Not very impressive if you ask me, but then again, it's not really there to sound impressive.

All the Vortech kits come with a SC and from driving them you can hear them easily

 

I'm pretty sure all supercharger kits come with a supercharger hehe!

yeah, but when my friend was giving me rides in his, i could not hear the bov whatsoever. just wondering if ppl decided to run a louder bov with an IC or not.

Your friend was using a Vortech so my guess would be that he either was shifting like a granny at low rpms or his exhaust was loud. There is no way you don't hear the stock BOV.

 

maybe i am being too newbish a/b this. what does the bov exactly sound like?
