Default Vortech bearing replacement

well.....I've been hearing a bit of chatter coming from my blower and was considering sending it into Vortech for a replacement bearing job, but was looking all over the interweb to see if theres an alternative to doing that....was wondering if it's somthing I could do myself at home. I found this on Ebay.

I really don't want to send it into Vortech and pay $500 minimum for something I can do myself at home for about $110.

thank you, and have a nice day.

I don't see why it couldn't be a diy. BTW check out superchargerrebuild.com for the upgraded ceramic bearings.

Do you have a bearing puller set or a hydraulic press and large HD impact sockets? If so it shouldn't be too hard. If not, Harbor Freight has all of these items. Remember heat and cold swell and shrink things, respectively.
