Default Vortech rebuild

How often does everyone service their vortech? Someone told me to do it at 15000 miles. Feedback? Mine is making noise at idle that doesnt sound too healthy. Im sure i have over 15000 on it now.

My S trim developed a really loud high pitched screech and it was a bearing gone bad.

Not until they leak oil or have noisy bearings/damaged impeller.

Should i send it directly to vortech or should i send it to superchargerrebuilds.com? i noticed there are different rating on superchargerrebuilds.com. I am running 13PSI/3.8 pulley and was wondering if i send it to vortech the RPMs on the factory rebuild would be good enough for my app. I saw on superchargerrebuilds.com that there is a ABEC-7 and ceramic ABEC-9. Should i look into those options?

Enthralled, why are you sending yours to superchargerrebuilds.com instead of vortech?

I'm getting the 59k RPM rated bearings. it's $400 just for the bearings and $600 if you want them to install it. Actually, I ordered the bearings a couple days ago and gonna have Dave install it for me.
