Vortech black box kicked the dust - suggestions?
My Vortech black box (timing box) has finally died on me after about 50,000mi. of service. It is definately bad; hooked up, the car won't start. If it finally starts, the S runs in limp mode. If I unhook it, the car runs great. I have 1 of the old units known to fail. I bought my system in the first Vortech group buy here.
So, I'm looking for advice. Questions in my head now are: Do I replace the box? Can I even buy from Vortech? I wonder how much it will cost. Am I better going with an emanage or a standalone? Any other solutions?
I feel I have enough power. I'm more interested in everyday reliability. Only mod I still want to do someday is lower VTEC a little.
All opinions are welcome with my thanks.

If you are happy with your current power then just leave the black box out. Pulling 3 degrees of timing isn't needed at less then 8psi on a centrifugal. Comptech doesn't even incorporate one in their kit.
