Default Vortech Fuel Pump & Drive Belt?

So I picked up a used Vortech kit and it seems like the only two pieces I need to replace are the drive belt and the fuel pump.

Is the fuel pump the Walbro Universal 255lph pump? Can I use the "pump only" or do I need additional parts? (as seen here)

Secondly, does someone have specs or a part number I can use to source a new drive belt for the VTSC? The old one is... old cracking, dried out, etc.

Oh and I guess I need to pick up some plugs (NGK 6097/BKR7E)!

Thanks!

that pump looks like the right one to me, high pressure 255 walbro. i dont remeber putting anything else in there when i got mine, it fit right in, no problem. Came with a new fuel filter, but that wasnt needed. Just an fyi, i got mine on ebay for $100 shipped.

about the plugs, i would think about the ngk 7173, they might be more the appropriate heat range for a stock vortech kit.

thanks for the info.

I thought the 6097 were a one step colder (appropriate for 7lb boost) copper resistor type and the 7173's are OEM heat range...?

Excellent, thanks. That's the same one I linked to and PTuning (where my car is now) apparently has in stock.

... belt size from the FAQ section:

The Vortech belt for AP1 is 4060510 (6PK1295) It is 51" (1295cm) and used with 5" Vortech factory supplied pulley. Vortech belt for AP2 is 4060500 used with the 4-1/2" pulley.

The 7173's are heat range 8 which is one step colder than stock.

Thanks for the info... Sorry for not digging into the FAQ deeply enough

I was under the impression that the OEM heat range WAS 8.

Obviously I was mistaken... Now, go with the OEM heat range, which some people say are good to 400hp (BKR7E) or go with the non-resistor type 7173 in the appropriate heat range? My head hurts
