I am installing my vortech kit this weekend and wondering if anyone else has done the suggest boring out of the stock regulator in the instructions for 2004-05 models. It says suggested for 00-03. Just wondering if it is worthwhile to do by anyone else's experiences.

I posted this last week and no one gave me a reply. I just installed the kit and have not drilled out the stock regulator everything is running great but I havent broken into vtec yet because I am still breaking in my clutch. Should this suggested precedure be done or is it not necessary has anyone else done it on a 00-03?

I would really appreciate it if someone could give me some feedback. I would rather not destroy my factory regulator if it is not needed but on the other hand i know the vortech is notorious for running lean. Let me know.
