Wanted to see if anyone else had similar issue with this company.

Sent my 1220 out to vortech/Paxton, for the 1200 upgrade, which was told NEEDS sent in, volute and wheel swapped.

SOOO first thing first, told me 10-12 day turn around. they got the blower on 14th, did not even touch it till the following week on monday, than TODAY i get a email asking me if i want to use MY VOLUTE they can, and save me 245 dollars by using mine, OR they can put a NEW volute on???? I than asked, i thought the volute was different on the 1200, thus why u said it needs sent in for the volute and wheel swap for the upgrade? he said, no yours will work...... This is all really damn odd to me? and if it IS just a wheel swap, why do i hear everyone else getting charged 400 bucks for new volutes?

anyone go through this or know anyone that has done the upgrade and got anything from vortech on this?
