vortech returned to the oil pan
I already had the oil pan off once to install a baffle when I thought I was staying na and didn't add the bung at the time.
So now that I am going the SC route I didn't want to take it off again and I decided to copy the SOS return setup but apply it to the Vortech kit.
Measured the ID of the return hose and it was right at 1/2" so that's -8 hose equivelant.
Gave summit a call and for 20 shipped I had a m14x1.5 to 8an apater and an 8an to hose the next day with their standard shipping (summit rocks!!!!!)
Drained the oil added a crush washer and some sealant on the metric thread since ill just take the an fitting off to drain the oil now and its all set ready to rock!

-flame suit ON- for return line below the oil level.

have another 500 miles on this setup, as far as Im concerned this is a very easy and recommended way of returning oil with a SC kit last post ill be making here hope it was helpful to people.
i wouldnt go so far as to say its the recommended way to return oil to the pan. tech, there is a chance your drain could back up since it drains into a submerged part of the pan. however, i have not heard of any problems doing this on an s2k.
all failures i read about were from too much oil pressure on the feed side. that being said, i didnt take a chance, and had FBM tap my pan highest point on the front.
imho the girdle is overkill.
