Vortech SC 4HS218-010SQ
A friend of mine installed this SC on his S2000
He has everything stock in it even the exhaust. The only thing he did is that he installed a testpipe.
The car is doing fine producing around 340HP not WHP
Now he wants to get a little more power and he's thinking of a pulley.
What's the best suggestion for this kind of SC. The car is AP1 F20C
Where can I get it from
Thanks guys

It is possible to go to a smaller pulley but with the stock Vortech fuel management you don't have much room to play.
If your friend wants to add more than 10 horsepower he should upgrade to an engine management system and larger injectors.
ASP in Texas will make any size you want.

The Vortech he has came with 2 contollers (piggy backs) I think one Fuel management and the other for ignition timing. They can be reprogrammed right?
what injectors size does he need ?

I also don't think there's much room to play. Maybe another 1psi, but I'd think your friend could make the same power by getting an exhaust and/or throttle body to increase flow. I think adding a pulley in concert with those could lean out the car too much, though.
Pulley would be cheaper, of course. I don't think anyone has gone over 7psi on the CT, SOS, or Vortec kits on their stock fuel management systems and stock injectors. I'm at the stock 6psi, but I only see 5psi but make ~306HP at the wheels on a Mustang...so somewhere around 360HP. Overall gain from bone stock with SC+Exhaust was +115 on the same dyno.
If it were ME, I'd get a standalone or some kind of fuel management before trying to add more power. The fuel management systems that come with these kits are designed for the base boost level, and there isn't much reserve in them. I want more myself, and don't even want to risk adding a test pipe for fear of leaning it out; I'm saving up for a Stage 2 upgrade with a pulley, standalone, and injectors.
