[QUOTE=2QYK4U,Aug 5 2008, 02:44 PM] I have a clean-up tune (currently driveability is pretty poor; overall power is fine) scheduled for next Thursday (August 14th) night at RRE in Norwalk.

Yeah but in a race it shouldnt matter if you are making more power at lower rpm levels them him as the two of you should NEVER see those lower rpms right? Even if his is all peak, during a race he should never be out of that peak anyways. Theres way too many other factors that will determine the outcome that can be argued all day on here, you guys need to just settle this already....
That is somewhat of a point. From a roll I will be pretty over 7800 rpms after third gear. So I should be running higher than 320whp the whole time. Do you rev the evo out to redline? What do the rpms fall to each shift? It looks like I got about 40whp on you the last 400 rpms.
Here is what the gearing looks like even starting below 7500.

Thats at 7psi. 14psi at 9300rpms is a new beast.

No one can beat a MASE'D car, NO ONE. Even if you had more hp than a MASE'D car it would be lights out for you. Seeing as you are behind in power anyways and are facing a MASE'D car, id say 9kfever by buslengths for sure....
Wow...color yourself a jackass.

I can rev to 9K but since the turbo is out of its efficiency it doesn't make sense. My shift points are around 8K.

What is it making at 8k? The dyno only shows 7k and it seems to be tapering off quite a bit.

Not too sure...but shifting at 8K puts me at full boost in the next gear.

Yea I understand. I always laugh when people claim you should shift an NA AP1 at 8300 because after that it just tapers off. I always tell them to buy an s2000 and try that out. Watch your nose on the steering wheel.
