we ran a comptech 5.5psi vs a vortech with 7psi and the comptech pulled away from the vortech
Could it be that the driver makes a bigger difference than the SC choice?

I hugged my comptech last night and it made my heart smile, can your vortech do that for you?

but he's just comparing the stock unit against one another so the novi2000 shouldn't even be in this thread.....

There's no clear winner or looser in this. Both are great kits, both have very good performance gains, both are CARB certified.

I went comptech, I didn't want to punch a hole in my oil pan and I thought the install looked easier. Also I've heard all the nightmares people have trying to get vortech customer support.

So honestly, as long as the install is done correctly in whatever kit you buy... Well, you'll be very happy!

The oil pan hole is a good thing.

Paxton is OWNED by Vortech - they share the same building.
So customer support should be the same.

Of course Vortech will PR their kit as superior as they make the whole thing and therefore greater net profit, vs. selling the Novi1000's wholesale to Comptech who incorporate them it to a kit.
