i went with comptech because they are pretty well known and track proven. plus all they work on is honda's and acura's. basically hondas. their customer service is #1.

I say comptech for daily, it seems to me comptech is more reilable and needs less maintence but vortech can make more power but more maintaince.

Basic notes:
Different cooling methods
Comptech 5.5lbs, Vortech 7lbs
Both run on stock ECU
Vortech unit pumps more air (bigger blower) *edited
Comptech looks cooler!

The Vortech is not a Novi1000. The Novi1000 only moves a maximum of 850 cfm whereas the S-trim Vortech is capable of 1000 cfm. Out of the box the Vortech kit is capable of more power and modified it is again capable of more power.

What maintenance? Reliability? My Vortech is kicking ass after 2 years at 13 psi and no problems. How many Novi1000s are reliably pumping out over 400 hp? There seems to be lots of biased or incorrect information in this thread.
