Interesting. I plan on running in the 550whp area with my turbo setup and 1000cc injectors. Hasn't that been done already without upgrading to such an extreme fuel system?

Im going for closer to 700-750. with 550 your going to be at about 95% duty cycle of the pump

you wont be seeing a fuel pressure loss with a walbro until around 650-700whp. 550, i would deffinately say you are in the clear with the walbro.

GDM S2k, i would strongly consider getting the aeromotive elimantor pump if you are looking for that kind of power.... the a1000 flows at 600lbs/hr. where as the eliminator flows at 800lbs/hr. A couple of friends had to upgrade to the eliminator after being on the dyno making around 700 wheel due to the a1000 not supporting the power. The is eliminator only around 100$ more and i would rather go overkill then be on the borderline. just a heads up...

The whole reason for this thread is the Walbro unit won't support 500 rwhp.

500whp for a supercharged setup right? as you said earlier, the motor is making more than that, but because of the parasitic loss of the supercharger, the motor is only making 500 to the wheels... So there is a difference in fuel needs for someone someone with a turbo setup compared to someone with a supercharged setup!

Sideways. Check the voltage at the Pump. Sometimes the wires can't carry the voltage and that will cause it lose pressure.

In previous car I would get about 11v at the pump. I would run a 10ga wire and relay to the pump. Doing so would bring the voltage back up.
