I drove the car once after finding out the fuel pump was going bad. At low speeds with minimal demand for fuel my EGTs were 100 to 150 degrees C higher than previous.

I have ordered another new Walbro 342 and will replace the intank pump. I also picked up a Bosch 044 and will insert that and another filter into the main line.

are you going to upgrade the size of the line or just use the stock lines?

Hmmm I might have to follow your lead on this one...I recently upgraded to 750's and my tuner told me after all was said and done that I'm on the peak of them too.. Maybe I should get the new pump and 1000's just to be safe.

After reading this topic I've decided to take the plunge and purchased a Weldon
A2005-A. It will be mounted underneath the car, it suction feeds(no intank pump)
delivers 279 lph@ 70 psi draws 8.4A, good to 650HP. No more duals,multiple lines,sumps, etc.

The stock fuel lines and rail appear to be of adequate volume for now.

After the fuel delivery is squared away it looks like 1000s and an AEM injector driver are in the cards.

so If I wanted to run my walbro 255 intank like it is I could run a -10 line from there to a bosch 044 inline and then run that straight into my fuel rail correct? I have a 2001 AP1 and I ? THINK ? there is a return line on those years... would that need upgraded or could I just get by upgrading the feed line?
not as easy as it sounds, the space is very limited we got the sump a bit offset as per arnolds@inlines instructions be ready for your sub frame to be on the ground for a few days

Phil,

I don't know what is going on with your fuel system, but I have a Walbro 255, 1000cc injectors, a RETURNLESS fuel system, am making more power than you, and haven't had any issues with my fuel system at this point. I am having my fuel system converted to a return-type and during this process will upgrade to something like -10AN feed line(s), -8AN return line, TBD FPR, and a Speed Force Racing fuel rail (already made). I am doing this fuel system upgrade simply because I will be making well over 600rwhp, and figured I might as well do it sooner rather than later.

Again I have had ZERO issues with the Walbro 255.

Justin

would I have to run a sump or could I just run an -10 AN line from the walbro in my tank and mount the bosch 044 inline somewhere?

Robbie, did you get the saturated 750s?

If so, which model because there is a recall on them.

There is a certain model number that can not handle high pressure
