i gotta say something here. i ran an open dump on my turbo h22 hatch. i had a 2.5" exhaust with a resonater and magnoflow muffler. when the car was NA without the resonator car was loud as ****. put resonator on car got quiet. put turbo on car stayed quiet except when i floored it i heard the dump. but it wasnt loud obnoixus annoying sound. it sounded like rushing water from a firehouse. spool then running water sound. ehhh, i loved the sound. esp since my exhaust was so quiet.

i suppose loud is individual preference. everyone has a different definition of loud. loud to me might be quiet to someone else, and megaloud to a third person.

oh well good luck dude

I'm having my 3 inch SP cutout installed on my downpipe and then going to my stock exhaust.
My car is quiet right now with the stock exhaust but I cant wait to hear that cutout open and that dump tube open up at 16-18 psi.

Honestly it will be loud and raspy as all hell. If you can deal with that, more power to you

ok, so I am going to have two dumptubes, how loud is my car going to be?

I have 12lb springs on the dual 38mm MVS Wastegates, I will only be going past 12PSI when I "need" too. Is it like Rocketship loud?

I am 29, but in my heart I guess I am more 18 or so, because I think I will get kick out of the car sounding like an F-16 when I want it too........

I think there is a big differance when a car is loud and slow, to me if its loud and fast.........................it kinda makes me smile
I have a 38mm dump and the only time it bothers me is when I get into the car in a tunnel with the windows down, or near a wall (only on the right side though) with the windows down. It's a harsh sound that is hard on my ears when it reverbs.

This does not bother me much since I prefer driving with my windows up when possible anyway, and my AC is still functional .
