Default what am I going to need to to use this kit?

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=604733

Im thinking about purchasing this kit. This will be my first step into the FI world. What will it take for me to get this kit running on my 07?

I know that someone on the board is running an adaptor of some sort for the DBW. What else am i going to need to take into consideration?

Thanks.

you won't be able to use the AEM EMS first of all. Even if you wanted to you would have to buhy a $1000 harness that is very hard to get. Also you would lose VSA and Cruise control.

Sell the EMS and buy a greddy EMU or AEM FI/C and find a very very good tuner. Like Giles in NH.

And you won't be able to install the CTSC by urself./ Take it to a shop that can do custom fab work because it wont be to easy to install.

depending on the price you are getting, it might be worthwhile to look at kraftwerks which utilizes the hondata reflash

but to answer your question, you can use AEM, but it'll cost you a lot of money like shasan said

i suggest the emanage ultimate tuned by giles (holyrollerdyno.com) or the kraftwerks s/c kit for a 100% plug and play system

its gonan cost u 3200 for the sc plus another 800 for the greddy emu plus harness for dbw, than tuning and install which could run together anywhere from 1000-2000 and you would be puting out around 300-320 whp.

Go with the KW kit. Its 6645 shipped to your door. Tuned and everything. Install it urself and your reayd to go

i was kinda thinking i was going to go KW anyways. I didnt want to run the hondata because i wanted to tune and upgrade often. I like the ability to tune and tune and tune. sounds like i need to get everything done at once and go for a single tune.

does that sound like a better idea?

You could get the KW You tune kit. Its cheaper. You have to buy your own Engine management and injectors. You can order diff injectors. and Get a Greddy EMU to use for tuning. But this will be more expensive but it is well worth it.

You can get the turbonetics kit for about $2500 plus EMS, and Injectors. Inexpensive and more ponies.
