What clutch should i buy? Budget
I have a vortech running on stock boost so around 300whp. My clutch just started to slip, i bought my car with an aftermarket clutch. I'm not planning to increase my boost or anything so i dont need a top of the line clutch. I just lost my job so im really tight on my budget. Someone on the forums was selling a Act Puck 6 clutch disc w/ 20k miles for $60, should i go for that? or do yall recommend something else?

The most basic and effiecent clutch for low boost with no clutch chatter is the ACT HDSS. It has a full face oem style disc with a heavy pressure plate.
Check your PMs, I am actually selling a used one

I and many other have had great luck with the ACT Heavyduty Pressure plate and OEM clutch disc.
Used parts to save a few bucks????
You are talking about your clutch, it is a PITA to change and they are not that much money. Yes the HD PP will cost more than stock but lets face it you have to pay to play. I hate being like this but if you cannot afford a clutch you should strip off the supercharger and sell it. Or another alternative is to do the work yourself. I was driving car I could not afford in my younger years but I also did all the work on them myself which made it feasible. I can tell you from experience you need to seperate your hobby from your daily.
Just buck up and buy a new PP, Clutch Disc, Throwout bearing, pilot bearing and have the flywheel resurfaced.
Good Luck

If its just starting to slip and not too bad, I would just keep driving it and not beat on it. Wait until you find a new job before you spend the money.
Whats more important? Driving the s2000 and beating on it or surviving with no job?
