So unfortunately I was recently ripped off. I purchased a vortech supercharged kit from a seller overseas who ASSURED me multiple times that the kit I was purchasing was for an ap1 only to find out that it was a 2004 model when it arrived. Obviously the black box wasnt compatible with my car and I will need to buy a stand alone EMS and get a tune but is their anything else I will need to change on the kit?

If you're getting a standalone EMS, probably just injectors. A smaller pulley, too, depending on what boost level you want.

You sure you were ripped off? In much of the world, all S2000s are AP1s right up through the last model year, and 2.0L to boot. 2004+ has the cosmetic and chassis/suspension changes, but retains the powertrain and often the AP1 designation to avoid recertification.

So, unless this buyer was Greek or something, you didn't get ripped off.
