Default Vortech AP1 kit on AP2

Hi all,

I currently have an AP1 with a Vortech, I installed the entire kit myself so I know what's up.

I'm thinking of going to an AP2, can I just remove my kit and put it on the AP2?

I am pretty sure I would need a new crank pulley and I thought I remember reading something about AP2's needing another injector or some type of mod to the fuel injector rail???

Is that all?

Could you actually run an AP1 pulley on an AP2? I would assume it would fit, only boost would be lower ... I think...

the AP1 kit on an AP2 will give you somewhere around 4psi of boost. Also, the blackbox is different as well. I don't think you'll need an extra injector running 4psi of boost.

doesn't sound worth it at 4psi that would add 30hp maybe? Need a blackbox as well. The AP2 I am looking at would an an AEM box.

aem standalone, get the right pullies to run 7-8psi of boost, and the f22c and you will get pretty good gains. as long as you tune and lower vtec, midrange will be nice.

now, are you switching from f20 to f22 becuase of problems with your f20? if not, just keep the f20, get standalone, and lower vtec to around 4k. you will get close power, and spend less overall and do less overall to accomplish it. yeah f22 is nice, but you have FI, which is the only replacement for dispalcement
