It's not a spark plug tip. I never pulled a plug where the tip was missing.

your turbo right? check your impeller. does look like you had a detonation station though. if you run a plain bearing turbo you may have scuffed the impeller and broke a piece off

Yes I am turbo. Turbo looks fine. There is no sign of damage to the fins. Two months ago I had to drive the car for a little bit when cylinder 2 wasn't firing.

Anyways I am considering a used oem block with good cylinder walls. Also someone told me I can get my motor sleeved with darton dry or wet sleeves.

What does the cylinder wall of #1 look like? Did you unplug the fuel injector in cylinder 2 when you were driving it without it firing?

it doesn't look like there was enough room to let a piece of the top ring by good luck on the rebuild

Cylinder #1 is badly scratched. I did not unplug the fuel injector. Cylinder #4 is fine
