Default What are people running in their 8.8" FB/Super Coupe Rears?

I recently picked up the 31 spline Ford 8.8" out of a 1993 Thunderbird Super-Coupe like Full Blown Recommends for their kit. My question is what do people run for guts in the diff. Setup and function wise the car is going to be in the range of 600-800hp, see ALOT of street use, and also the track. (So key is to have me capable to stay in 4th gear through the 1/4 mile at 9500rpm)

Currently im thinking 3.90 or 3.73 Ford Racing Ring and pinion.

Diff Cover from LPW with the trick adjustable main caps and honestly just some bling factor lol

And for the locker/diff itself im lost. I dont mind something overly racey for street use. So i would consider a spool/mini spool that locks both wheels all the time. But I mainly just want to make sure it fits the 31 spline IRS 8.8". Seems like there is alot of mixed up info online in regards to 28 vs 31 spline and solid vs irs 8.8`s. So just want to confirm with you guys this is what I need.

Also could some on show me what rebuild kit/install kit I should purchase to overhaul all the seals and such on the diff. Just want to make sure its all good to go when I put it in the car. Thanks ladies and gents

Eaton Posi LSD // 3.89 Richmond gearset // Thunderbird Supercoupe 8.8". The LPW cover is a good idea; the stock case doesn't have a drain lol.

COOL COOL. As far as rebuild kits and seals did you buy a certain rebuild kit to replace everything or did you just retain the old stuff?

Sorry for the thread jack, but I am out here in Southern California. Can someone out here build me a 8.8 rear end kit? Cash in hand. I just can't justify paying fb 4,500 for the ford rear end please pm if you wanna make some $
