What to tune with a spare 2,0L engine?
Hi Guys,
would like to hear your opinion on what to do with my spare engine of my old 2 liter engine. As you can see in my signature, I have Vortech supercharged car, lot's of other modifications but the current engine is completely stock.
Besides doing the optimizations Sideways is suggesting in his thread:
- port aftercooler inlet to about 2mm
- get a smaller 3.6 pulley and limit rpm to 8300
what would you actually do with the engine itself, if you would have time and money to send it to the US?
A head work job at Alaniz? Going to 2,2 liter?
I already have 370 hp, would aim to get over the 400 whp easily, but generally aim for more torque below as the engine needs lots of revs.
Opinions are welcome, as well as suggestions
TIA,
Andreas

just a little note on sending the engine over,
sell the one you have now, and then buy one already over in the states, they are cheap enough, i did that, before i sent the car over as i originally planned to do the work in the uk.
plus then there is only one shipping cost
