I use 10W-30 just like the manual recommends.

In general, oil's sweet spot is between ~210-260F and thats where my oil temps are during winter and summer in NJ

I run 10-30 but have been told that if the weather is pretty hot in the summer to use 10-40, then back to 10-30 when the weather cools down. If you live somewhere where it gets really cold you may want to try 5-30
