YES YOU CAN ADD SOME FUEL WITH A VAFC!!I have done it and it has been very reliable for the last 15k.I have a stock vortech and was able to get 1 full point on a wideband using this method.
What are your settings?

now this hesitate me a bit of installing the SC. for those of you guys who scored the blocks, what else you did to your car that made this? is it only the SC or you had more mods to it? even if i run on stock pulley and just have it tuned with the FRP would there still a possibility of getting the block scored? and how to prevent this problem? is it only by changing the injectors at the same time i install the SC? once again you guys been a good help. i want to run my car with SC as safely as possible though i push the car to the 9K. but not all the time. only when needed.

Ive had no trouble with my vortech setup.I have gone well past 140mph with it.I do not baby the car by any means. After the supercharger install i recommend getting the a/f ratio checked by a wideband on a dyno. Some cars seem to be ok and most others run VERY lean as mine did out of the box.People who have blown there cars up after the supercharger install did not verify a safe a/f ratio and simply kicked the snot out of the car and KABOOM!!!!A little common sense goes a long way!

no, actually mine blew because my cyl wasn't getting enough oil to cool the cyl, but thanx for the common sense check. I wish I could say i missed my supercharger, but I sure as hell don't. I like my 500plus whp

haha,

i'm very happy at 380 whp on my comptech, but i could definitely see the road down turbo lane

sometimes all the precautions in the world can't prevent problems... but definitely check to see if you have the uprated banjo bolts as well as proper tuning with safe a/f's...

See my sig..my race car is turbo and is pumping out some nice numbers.I am not debating turbo versus supercharger here.Im simply stating that you CAN add fuel with a vafc!

what minor precaution would you suggest that i need to buy and add to my bolt-on CTSC set-up without breaking my wallet? right now just want to have an SCed S and run safely and have fun as well.
