My set up is fully custom, all fabricated by him. I cant really give you hp numbers nor a dyno graph yet because we had a retainer fail during tuning so we are needing to deal with that problem now. the head is comming off today so the extent of the damage will be revealed. I have all new valvetrain parts from ip and supertech ready to go, just need to have guides replaced. Im really keeping my fingers crossed that the cylinder walls and pistons are ok. will have an update tonight.

you're starting to compete with me on the number of motors i've gone through!

 

its much worse when its not your fault , like a cracked retainer or crankwalk

 

some good news finally. The head is off and so far everything looks fine. The piston is in really good shape, just needs to be clean from all the carbon to be checked for any stress. My tuner said the valve barely touched but looking at it you would think it got hit by a bus head is off to the machine shop today so now its just another waiting game. I am very happy, things could have been much worse.
