This is really easy on Infinity, 3 wires wire up right at the AUX connector

I hope he's right I don't want to get to the tuners plug everything in and it not read. But I have heard this from 2 other people. And my v2 wont get installed till I get to Evans which is over 8hr drive. So it has to work :/
You dont have to take my word for it. I have the aem series2 2.2 firmware notes in pdf. It clearly states everything there and respectively how to wire it up. If someone wants to host it ill email them.

Im sure a simple call to Jeff will put you at ease. He has helped me a few times. There is also another post where someone did all this and did a how to in detail.

Pm sent with my email, I'll host it.

Thanks for the email, it really clears up some questions.

Here is the link for anyone to download:

Adam

Are you building a whole new flex file tune on 02v02? If you are disregard.

If you are not, and are converting the file from a previous firmware I have a small check list. I made it for settings that dont port over well or port over backwards. As well as work space mods for some tables that are not shown on the default work-space that you will need and help you refine the tune as they wernt options that needed messing with on the previous firmware. Some of it i think my have to do that they added resolution on some tables and AEM tuner cant convert it over 100%

They are not in the Firmware update notes at all. They should be but are not. I found this out the hard way with multiple calls and emails to aem. For example some hidden decel 2d table that was rarely used on the old firmware was ported over at max settings not allowing 02 feed back after the first decel under load etc...

I want to clearly state that i am no tuner. Maybe someone that spends hours tuning cars would laugh at the hiccups i had but none the less Im willing to post the things i altered if anyone needs them when i get home

No, currently I am not building a flex tune. In the future perhaps, and is probably something I should do, just haven't made it that far yet.

However, that info, if you care to share would be very beneficial I am sure to some, and me even down the road.

Well, this was interesting.

I went to do the pinout on D12, (I've done my boost solenoid & Uego controller) and when I put the plug back in, it kept pushing out the pin. I thought maybe I didn't have it seated, NOPE, D12, is larger than the rest of the pins...

The pins I have, came with my AEM, so what does it take to find a bigger pin for that D12 blade on the AEM.

It's all ready to go, just trying to find a solution to a simple problem....

What did you all do?

Sw3 rising edge: on
Flex fuel switch : switch always off

Works petfect. All settings in flex fuel tab on AEM tuner.

Look for flex fuel content % and see if it syncs with gauge and all set. If your running pump and don't have a guage you should be at 8-10%

Under Flex Fuel Tab on AEM v2

I have the followings:

Options - Flex Fuel

Flex Fuel Inpput:
Flex Fujel Switch Input
Flex Fuel Failsafe
MicroSec/Bit
Sw2 Rising Edge
Sw2 Falling Edge
T3 Rising Edge
T3 Falling Edge
T4 Rising Edge
T4 Falling Edge

I don't have an Sw3 labeled?

Yep, found that, thanks. Insert option, and added those.

It took it and then the % showed up correctly from 65000.05% to 77% booo, lol.

Still fussing with my AEM gauge, I'm close, just not there yet. I'm going to drain the fuel out of my tank, and go fill up with fresh fuel, and see where it sits. Curious what my local station has been getting.

Only bad thing, is I was tuned on 85% from another station.

Might have to setup the blend option sooner than later.

So I went and got all new gas after draining my tank, and it went up from 77% to 78%....wtf.

I am going to pull the sensor off and run some 93 through it, and see what it shows as content, I want to make sure it's working correctly.
