That SOS kit is very nice. Wasn't there a kit out there, that came with a little digital display to show you ethanol content as well?

I would like to know what my % is with the different stations around. See if it warrants a tune first, alot easier to look at a gauge, then to mess with the cylinder to test on the spot.

Thanks.

Question about the SOS kit, does it tell you teh % in AEM for example? What does it output from the flex fuel sensor?

The ECU reads the frequency output from the sensor which allows the ECU to display ethanol content and fuel temperature. It can display this on a laptop or a display product that can read FlexFuel content, like gaugeART:

Appreciate the reply, your kit is very nice, and I'd pull the trigger today if it could display it on a small digital device.

Something that was able to be hidden for example. I hate to be forced to hook up my laptop every time I put gas in the car to view the ethanol content, or spend an additional 500+ on something like guageart (no offense looks like a great product, just beyond my needs, and most for this simple sensor solution).

My car's tuned on e85, but in my area the % varies, and I'd like to know what I'm running before I go out and beat on it for a night.

It should work with any flex sensor, I went with the GM sensor and harness. Was like 80 total. Then you just tap the signal wire into the gauge.

If the flex fuel sensor already knows the ethanol %, then Anyone know if you could use PLX as a read out ?

Ok just to make sure i want to tap my sensor into the line coming off the back of the fpr? That's the return line correct? So just follow it down under the car....
