if u run lower ethanol the computer will realize and adjust boost and timing accordingly, hence the whole point of running the flex fuel kit

I get that. But what happens when you wastegate line pops off? What failsafe do you have when running a mixture of gas and ethanol with a lesser amount of ethanol? That lowers your boost threshold dramatically
