Why are there no Hydra Nemesis Users?
I noticed that Hydra makes a unit for the s2000. Why do so few (if any) of you guys use it?
My previous cars have been mkII MR2's and ive always used the Hyda Nemesis. The price is great for what you get (i dont know about the s2000 kit, but with the mr2 kit, there is a 3 bar map sensor built into the ecu) and the system works flawlessly. If i didnt already have an AEM on the car, id consider buying one for my turbo'd s2k.

One thing I've noticed about most of the folks here is that they tend to stick to "tried and true" engine management, and for good reason...they don't want their investments to go up in smoke. So far, the majority here run the AEM EMS or the Greddy eManage, as they've been installed and tuned on MANY FI and NA S2Ks.
That's not to say the Hydra is a bad engine management system. It just means that no S2K owner has walked down that path yet. For what its worth, my friend has been running the Hydra on his turbo MR2 as well, and he absolutely loves it.
