Wideband?
Hey guys! I've decided to get the SOS stage 2 supercharger. I'll be running the Kpro. Only other mod is the T1R resonator and exhaust. This is my first time adding any forced induction to a car. Is a wideband sensor required? Will the tuner be able to do better with one? And if I should get one is it better to use a separate gauge or hook it up to the Kpro? Thanks!

AFR is the most important vital sign to a car. I wouldn't run a modified car without one ever again. So much valuable information can be deduced by knowing what the fueling is looking like. It's also good to be able to confirm that the car is running healthy. When you supercharge the car and nearly double the output, its best to be able to monitor vital signs like AFR, boost, oil pressure, fuel pressure etc.
I have one of the weakest FI S2Ks (SOS Stage 1, OEM ECU, a little over 300whp), and I won't run it without a wideband. It's $200 with a gauge.
The AFRs between summer and winter vary widely. Running FI with any problem like a bad injector will ruin everything, and AFR will give you real-time feedback if you've got a fuel issue.
