Default Wideband with GEMU

Who's running which wideband with the Greddy e-manage ultimate and how are you getting on?

I have the a/f sensor harness for the ultimate and unsure to which wideband to hook it up to. Suggestions would be really helpful as there are many available on the market!

Thanks in advance.

Im using the AEM wideband routed back into my emu, works pretty well. Setting it up can be a little confusing though, since greddy dosent have very good documentation on their emu.

Hi, can you elaborate how you connected it please?

I made a harness from an old PC cdrom cable IIRC i used the white wire from the guage to the harness, it worked and the greddy picked it up but generally in the midrange and topend it would read 0.5 AFR too high (sometimes more sometimes less), the gauge would report 12.0 but the greddy thought it was 12.7!! and so on .

I have read not on this forum but others that people have had the same problem due to the way the AEM (bosch) unit works, do you use a capacitor (i didnt).

I messed about with the scaling in the greddy with no avail, i tried 9.00 to 18:5, 10.00 to 20:00 etc etc etc with no avail. If you look at the manual IIRC it say 10:00AFR = 0.v and 20:00 = 4.98v but still not joy.

Thanks.

I'm running the PLX SM-AFR. Several guys here said they were using it, so I followed their recommendation. My tuner said it seemed to read very close to the results he was seeing with his equipment.

Cheers for your replies. My choices so far are:

Innovate MTX-L

AEM UEGO

PLX DM-5

...Any other suggestions? Which one of the above will work best with EMU?

Im not using it WITH the EMU but I have an innovative wideband thats a standalone and love it. Especially since the replacement 02 sensors are inexpensive if I ever need one.
