F24 Build would be a great choice.

Put in a stock motor and leave it N/A for awhile. Save the money for gas, tires, track fees, brakes, suspension, etc. Learn to drive it fast, then add power later.

You just named the two biggest factors with Turbo on the track. With a solid SC kit, you won’t have the same level of heat and bolts backing out, cracking and vibration. It simply cost more money to run a reliable turbo set up on he road course, and money still doesn’t always insure the reliability. When push comes to shove you will be under the hood more often with a turbo, no matter how much you spend, if you are a regular track junky.

Actually I don't think I am wrong seeing how the s2000 motor weighs in at 326 lbs and the LS1 weighs in at 385 before all the hoses and intakes and other add ons to that motor.

Can't V-Band the manifold to head haha. Although with the ARP studs I never had a problem with those backing out.

For those interested in the conclusion. I went OEM AP1, kept it stand alone and a Forcewerkz exhaust. Super happy with turn out. Fast on track/street and no worries.
