Novi1000,gemu,id1000 mapping
Last year I was running the CT sc base kit and i wasn't completely satisfied with the afr I had so I decided to upgrade a bit. Not for the numbers but more to get a safest afr.
So i went with the id 1000 and emanage ultimate to make the inj adjustment and adjust my afr and vtec crossover a bit lower.
So here I am ... At this point I got everything put together on the car. Fired it up yesterday with the map I got when I bought it used. It looked like it was the greddy map that came with the kit because it had the RC inj adjustment made to those provided with the turbo kit. and got all the misfire code I could get. Lol
I went to my friends garage to upload is know good map for is NA setup to start somewhere else and the car started way better but was running way to rich at idle because I didn't adjust the injectors.
So I tried a couple of number from what I saw in older post in here and got it to run way to lean or even to get those misfire code back. The misfires are coming from the wrong inj lag time, that I'm pretty sure.
I tried playing with the fuel pressure a bit but I I'm totally blind cause I don't have a fuel pressure guage.
Well that's my story for now. Anybody who feels like helping please fell free. Or if you just want ... Get a popcorn and enjoy my victory/lost that I will get to.
Cheers

1 hour later ...
Upgraded a bit. I did a match between the 2 maps I had. Since the ap2 turbo kit map was made from an f20c and my friend is a f22c I decide to modify the turbo map since it already as inj compensation table and boost maps.
The f20 seems to use a HN_PR-3 airflow meter and the HN_4 crank angle type sensor set at a 2.5 offset angle
The f22 on the other hand uses the same airflow sensor number but as a HN_2 crank angle sensor that is set at 0.2 offset angle.
Car runs pretty much the same with the 2 engine code ????
I also change the injector adjustment map and the airflow injector map to get a stoich idle but every time I make an adjustment to get near 14.7 it readjust itself leaner and leaner.
One ecu doesn't like something and compensate for some reason and screw it up. Could be the ltft and stft ?? I got my obdII scanner this morning. I will look into that.

I finally got a chance to put some effort into it. I tried to play with the invidual injectors adjustment map and did what the emanage 101 say. I retrieved 80% of duty at each cylinder one by one and found out that one wasn't responding.
So one of the plug and play wiring provided with the ID didnt clip very well. Problem solved.
After I played with the inj scaling and found that at 999cc and 1ms the car idles fine and is at 14.7 and pretty stable !!!!!
Went for a qwicky around the block but as soon as load comes in the equation. The car runs really really lean.
More reading for me tonight.
As previously stated , anyone who want to speed up things is MORE THEN WELCOME !!!!
Time for a beer ... Cheers !!

Wou hou !!!
Got a great gift today and received a map configured for the id1000 with a sc.
Injectors calibration was way diferente then what I've tried previously.
Tried the car for 5 minute and every thing is safe to get to the tuner next week.
Sleep tight little S !! Next Wednesday's gonna be dyno/day !!

Yes it performs great off boost. Way better than when i had the rrfpr and esm.
I went with the 3.4 inch pulley and i was f•••••g amazed to see that the fmic didnt make as much boost lost as expected.
The tune went forever. I must see at 10:30 pm both me and the tuner had enought so we slip a bit of fine tuning and put the car in open loop all the time.
I obviously got a CEL this week because of the but im going for a little street tune this monday.
I must say im very surprised with the gemu
