Default will A/F read true in resonated tp?

hey guys, will the a/f ratio read correct for something like this?
I was wondering since the wideband sensor does not make direct contact with exhaust gas flow.

thanks!

heres my experience on this.

i had the wideband tail sniffer and my wideband in the header colector. when i did dyno runs, my wideband in the header collector read .5-.8 points richer then the tail pipe sniffer.

on one run, i saw 11.5 @ collector, and 12.3 @ tail sniffer. i was running test pipe at the time. i only rely on my wideband in the car when at the dyno.

tail sniffer seems to read leaner then a sensor in the testpipe reigon -- I personally have seen this too on a few occasions.

the tailpipe sniffer works fine so long as you dont have any exhaust leaks.

but most cars have some sort of leak.

last time i was on the dyno both the tailpipe sniffer and the wideband in the car were dead nuts the same.

ah, sorry guys, this is a test pipe. I forgot to mention.
Since the exhaust gas flow doesnt actually make contact with the wideband sensor, will it read a little leaner?

I wouldn't trust it. Relocate your sensor to a portion of the tp that isn't resonated if it has one, or mount it on the header collector.
