Default Will flywheel help SC car

I am changing out the clutch setup very soon and adding a lightened flywheel. Was wondering if anyone could share some info on what it will do and what is best. thanks.

I think the flywheel helps make the car drive more smoothly (is that a word?) and it reduces stress on the transmission. Lightening the flywheel will reduce stress on the crankshaft resulting in your RPMs to climb quicker but also drop quicker.

And what i think is best is an upgraded pressure plate and flywheel

I was recommended the ACT street disk and comptech flywheel. I just wanted to see if the experts shared some knowledge so i could learn a little more about how that stuff works os something.

The ACT Street Disk is a reworked OEM disk. It would be best if you just got the OEM disk to save money.

With the supercharger you will find the power winds the engine up quickly. When you are applying the power you want it to wind up even faster. With the lightened flywheel, you are able to wind it up quicker. This is really noticeable in the higher gears where quicker equates with better top end. In addition to the lightened flywheel there are light weight pullies that also act in the same way.
This is a view of the lightweight pullies

You will find decreasing the mass of the drive train such as lightweight wheels/tires also helpful to increase the response.

I've had the ACT/Comptech setup for around 5k miles (all while super charged) and love it. Noticeable difference and no issues (other than the addition of the sporadic yet minor clutch rattle this car seems to get for a lot owners).

Prior to the new clutch setup, I stripped my clutch fairly quickly after adding the SC, so I included ACT's heavy duty pressure plate. The result has been only a slight increase in pedal pressure and great hook up. As mentioned above, you may want to consider that as well.
