Will the stock clutch hold it?

Default Will the stock clutch hold it?

I will be tuning next weekend for a 3.75" or (8lb) pulley on my comptech. I have the stock clutch now with about 270 to the wheels. Car is running super rich up top. It grabs and hold the power without slipping. I am hoping it won't slip with the smaller stock pulley.

I have done the searching with no results. Let me know what you think.

doubt you'll have a problem with the SC. If it was a turbo, that might be a different story.

My stock clutch is still holding up with a turbo and 350ish to the wheels.
MY01 50,xxx miles, Inlinepro at 12psi. Thats also 234lbs/ft. of torque.

Well it worked good enough to support 360whp and 220ft/lbs. Still grabs like mad

Its the torque not the horsepower that works the clutch. If youre around 190ish lbft then it will hold for a while. It will only slip at that level if youre slamming through the gears.
