Default wire wrist pin locks

This is my first experience with wire wrist pin locks... It is pretty easy to get one in but I am having the hardest time getting the second one in because the wrist pin is in the way. So my question is does anyone know an easy way to get the second wrist pin lock in without buying a specific tool for it?

I use a pocket screwdriver and my thumb and push really hard. Put the spiro lock in at about a 45deg angle and push the lock Into the groove then hold it with your thumb then work the lock into the groove with the screwdriver.

Some assembly lube also make it easier to slide in. Once it's in, just wipe off any excess.
