S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Is it worth the $5,300.00

I've always felt the MSRP prices on SCs for this car were just to high for the amount of gain you get out of them. Personally, if you can buy a used one for around half the price (3k), go for it. At 5k, no thanks get a turbo and enjoy power.

Have you considered the Greddy turbo? it's a bit cheaper.
+1 for the greddy kit.

I really think you will enjoy the turbo alot more and you also have alot more room to upgrade down the road. The torque is what really makes the butt dyno happy.

Plus its the only carb legal turbo.

I just keep hearing how TURBOs are much more of a headache, plus does the Greddy Turbi kit come with everything, looks like either way I will have CLM Racing in Jersey do the install, they have a whole bunch of 9 sec HONDA's so I trust them......... All in all I think the TURBO kit may end up being more expensive......... (but who does'nt love the sound of a BOV and a HUGE intercooler in someones rear-view mirror . Also IF I do the Greddy Turbo, won't I have to spend the money on a very expensive EMS. I guess with the turbo kit I won't have to buy headers, so I guess thats a few bucks in my pocket, I dunno..........

Just saw a price of $4,100.00 on a board sponsored webpage, looks like it comes with everything.............hmmmmmm starting to get very interested. The Guys I talked to at CLM said they could do a S/C install for about $800.00, how much do you guys think they will hit me up for a Turbo install, plus does the Greddy Turbo kit come with everything? looks like it does...............

hahah I know I know just did'nt see it in the description, but then again it says "all necessary hardware", well looks like the Greddy Turbo Kit it is, if I get it installed and tuned by experienced guys and keep the Boost relatively low, do you think it would be a safe option as opposed to the V-Supercharger?

if i had a choice like the Greddy kit when i was shopping around about three years ago, I may have gone the Greddy route instead of the Vortech.

There are a few detailed threads to be found here if you search for "Greddy turbo". I have had the Greddy installed on my AP1 since last September, but like everyone says its all in the tuning. Assuming it was installed correctly, getting it expertly tuned is the key to reliability and maximizing the power of your supporting mods. My current turbo (I'm on my second Greddy turbo) was installed and tuned by PTuning, which just happens to be the vendor for the link you posted.

Its a huge commitment of money, time and resources to go this route so you should seriously think about how much power to the wheels is going to make you happy. If you always wished Honda made a 340hp ( to the crank) S2000, and would have bought it over the 240hp S2000 with no hesitation at the huge price difference, then the Greddy is probably exactly what you need.

To be fair though, I find the technology in the Kraftwerks supercharger to be interesting from an engineering standpoint, and If I were you I'd consider the Greddy, Kraftwerks, and even inlinepro if you have dreams of going past 400whp. However, the Greddy is the least expensive of these options. Don't forget about the cost of supporting mods like exhaust, clutch, reinforced diff, blow off valve, boost controller and whatever else you are going to want eventually. It adds up fast.

well, for the time being I will not go bananas, The kit comes with the BOV I believe??? and I will only run 8psi or so for now. I plan on a Spugen exhaust, but other then that I will keep the rear-end and clutch stock for now..............
