Default 00-01 Soft top conversion.

Well I am in the process of putting on a soft top w/ glass and ran into some issues. I did not recieve everything to do the conversion only the soft top and was wondering what else I need. Also the DIY for the conversion was not to helpful so can you guys post some pictures of the inside so I can see exactly where the elastic straps are put in and where the bars are supposed to be when the soft top is closed. Thanks guys

So post up those pics

Not sure if you've seen this or not but this is the write up I used when I did a conversion a while back. Open up the pdf link in the first post.

i got a tops conversion in blue w/glass and authentic from honda. just bring it to some kind of custom top dealer or something. i only paid $500 and the guy gave me those "thingey" which makes it possible for the conversion. when i close it, its a bit slower and seem stuck. you have to play with the button back and forth.

sorry cant help much..

I prefer to do it myself because it's cheaper and not hard to install. All I need is a picture of the inside with the top up so I can see how the bars are supposed to be and where the elastic straps are supposed to go.

mwilly00 thats what I was going off of during the install but it doesn't show to many detailed pictures. Thanks though

i heard that the soft top doesn't fit too well with the frame for 00-01 models. that's just what i heard though.

but there is a frame and motor on sale in the socal for sale forum for around $50 bucks i think.

other than that, i cant be much more of help. good luck on the installation though.
