Default '06 Soft Top Problem

I noticed that my top doesn't go down all the way. The problem might be a support bar that doesn't fold back.
Here are pics of my top:

Compare it to this top (I hope OnlyInRio doesn't mind I used his pic).

Anyone else have this problem? If so, what did you do fix the problem?

There is a support bar in the middle that travels inside the cloth loops, make sure it is making this travel properly. Also make sure there isnt anything inside the well that the top folds into... like a kitten.

I think Modifry makes a fix for this.

I'm sure Honda does too. Take it to the dealer and have your warranty take care of it.

I took it to the dealer today. They're stating that it's normal. But they did order a new set of springs for the support bars. We'll see if that fixes the problem. Also, can you send me a link to modifry's fix?
Show them that the tonneau cover won't fit - that should prove it isn't normal.

Does your top EVER close fully? or is it a once in a while thing? Mine does the same thing once in a while.

Search the forum about the problem a couple other people have the same problem.

I can manually guide the support bar (one of the two bars - the one closer to the front end) to fold back. If I do that, the top folds down as it should. But I want to get it fix b/c the car is only a month old. Not only that, it'll make me sleep better at night.
